Two weeks ago I had posted "ever have one of those days" .. I had just gone in for the second set of epidural injections and well, sometimes it's pretty uncomfortable, sometimes it's quite painful.. but this particular set was extremely painful for me and I spent many days following it laying down with my trusty ice pack.
Well, last Friday I received this lovely card from a friend and follower of my blog Michelle VanWiggeren... waving hi to Michelle! Thanks so much you really made my day brighter! I wish that I could have shared it sooner but the weekend was a blur .. pain levels were high and now finally settling down to a tolerable level.
This Friday I will be going in for the third and final set of shots and I am hoping for a better outcome than the last two sets had delivered. I can only hope that it goes well and they get the medicine in the right area to resolve the nerve issues .. it has been a long road these past 8 years and I have been told by my Dr's to learn to live with the pain which I have tried my best to do.. it's hard sometimes but I know that there are people dealing with much more.. soooooo .... fingers crossed!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks again Michelle for the lovely card!

That was VERY sweet! I am sorry you are still struggling Sherry! I sure hope you get relief this time! Miss You!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristen, I'm hoping for that too, I'll keep you posted! Miss you too, let's get back on skype!
ReplyDeleteSherry, I can so relate to your pain, I have had the epidural shots for my neck and sometimes the pain they cause is worse than the pain you are trying to get rid of. I sure hope you get some relief.
ReplyDeleteOh Mamia that's got to be painful.. they say third times the charm but not so with these shots! My Dr. thinks this is a lifelong chronic pain and we are going to do some things to try and make it tolerable .. back brace, meds and therapy etc.. I wish you all the best if you have to endure anymore shots I cannot imagine one in the neck. I will be praying for you to have positive results as well. I would love for you to become a follower so we can stay in touch and give each other support!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry, You are so sweet! Glad the card brightened your day. Hope everything went well with the last shot and that you are feeling lots better.
